This tour focuses exclusively on showing you the very best Dutch tulip fields on any given day. We vary the route as the season progresses so that we find the quietest and and most spectacular fields.
The tour lasts four hours. On the drive back to Amsterdam we will take the backroads when possible.
There is a max of eight people on this tour, and we also treat you to a slice of Dutch apple pie!
This is an 8-person tour in which we bring you to real Dutch tulip fields. If you join us for an early tour, you may also visit hyacinth fields as these bloom earlier. We seek out the prettiest, quietest fields and we vary our route as the season progresses. This is because there are two regions close to Amsterdam. One is better in early April and the other in late April, and we switch half-way through the season.
We take backroads to get back to Amsterdam so that you get to see more of Dutch life. And you will also enjoy a slice of homemade Dutch apple pie!
09.30am – 1.30pm (approx):
The tour meets five minutes from Amsterdam Centraal.
We drive direct to tulip fields and are generally at the first one within 40 minutes max.
We spend about two and a half hours exploring tulip fields in the region. This usually includes three stops for photos. Additionally you will see many more fields en route.
Each tour includes a slice of homemade Dutch apple pie and the group will enjoy it picnic style.
We take smaller country roads home so that you see a bit more of Dutch life.
Meeting Point
Outside Lot 61 Coffee
Oosterdoksstraat 4, 1011 DK, Amsterdam.
We meet outside a cafe called Lot 61 Coffee. It is five minutes from the main train station. We will send detailed instructions in our confirmation email.
We depart at 9.30am sharp. Please arrive 10 minutes early so that we have maximum fun.
If you cancel a tour before February 1, we will refund all your money less 4% for fees.
If you cancel between February 1 and March 31 we will refund 75% of your money.
Once April begins we do not offer any refunds because our tour size is so small. However, you can purchase refund insurance for such a scenario. Please see below.
If you join us for a tour in the first week of April, and possibly the second, your tour will stop at a field of hyacinths. There are usually early tulip fields in bloom, and if so we will stop at one of each.
Free cancellation (minus 5% fees) before February 1. 75% refund between February 1–March 31. No refunds from April 1 onwards.
Refund insurance is available for €18/ticket, covering cancellations up to 96 hours before your tour.
