Our off-the-beaten-track tour whisks you far away from all the tourist crowds. No Keukenhof at all!

We first travel the backoads travel the backroads just to the north of Amsterdam known as Waterland. You’ll travel over dikes, through polders, and skirt the edge of the largest lake in Western Europe.

We’ll travel through the tiny village of Ransdorp before stopping in the beautiful Golden Age town of Monnickendam to pick up homemade apple to eat at the picnic later.

Onwards to the Beemster, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll visit a completely private field of tulips. If it’s early in the season and tulips are not in full bloom, we will also visit a field of hyacinths.

We’ll stop at a working windmill from 1630 for a lovely photo op. And then we’l finish up with a picnic lunch at the tulips farm. There will be an artisan chees e
